Florida Tracks & Trails

Stump Pass Beach State Park

Located at the south end of Manasota Key, Stump Pass Beach is loved by those who hunt seashells and shark teeth as well as anglers fishing for prize catches. Visitors can enjoy year-round swimming or sunbathing and a hiking trail passes through five natural habitats that provide homes for a variety of wildlife. Visitors can also launch kayaks and paddle around the two islands located just east of the park's land base. Ranger-guided nature hikes are also available in the winter months.
